Easter

It's pretty late so I don't have a lot of time for my usual witty narative. All your going to get tonight is a few Easter pictures. Pigtails, pastel green dress, eggs, and an Easter basket. What more can you really ask for!!!

Happy Easter to everyone.

Finally an update...

Okay, this is going to be very short. I have been a terrible blogger and everyone keeps asking me to update. So, here it is - two recent photos. I'll try to post more soon.

This is a picure of Adelaide reading a valentine her cousin Davis sent her.

And this one is a picture of Adelaide in her brand new, Ugly Betty inspired sunglasses. She's a pretty cool looking baby if I do say so myself.

I hope everyone is well. I'll try to post more updates later.

Too much to do, Too little time...

Oh my, I have let way too much time go by since posting. I am going to do my best to update sometime this week. I need to post about Christmas, New Years, and Adelaide's awsome new haircut. She now has the cuttest little girly stacked bob. :-) I have been anxiously waiting for Adelaide to have enough hair to get a real haircut and it finally happened. It made my week. Stay tuned for current pictures of the little diva!!!

Belated Birthday and Thanksgiving

I am such a dismal blogger. It takes me forever to find the time to update this site. I thought it was about time to update since Adelaide's first birthday party and Thanksgiving has passed. So consider this big bang for your buck.

So for starters, I decided to get Adelaide a "big girl chair" for her birthday. Here she is sitting in her monogrammed chair. She really thinks she's "all that" when she sits in her chair.

And now for the actual first birthday party...
Of course, there were balloons and presents

And then there was cake and a party hat...

And presents of course...
First, she loved the caterpillar MieMie in Texas made for her. [Note: the Texas MieMie is not to be confused with Adelaide's Kentucky great-MieMie (ie: Mommy's MieMie.) If you are a blood relative, this makes sense. If not, its too complicated to explain. ;-)]

The little people bus from Uncle Chris, Aunt Lauri, and Davis was also a huge hit.

And music... The baby loves music, what can I say. She seems to be really diggin' her new CD. I think she is going to be a muscial prodigy of course.

Well, I guess that is about it for the first birthday. Now on to Thanksgiving. Like everyone else I am sure, we had good food - way too much good food. RayRay cooked and everyone ate and ate and ate, until we couldn't eat anymore. Once dinner was over, we all slept. One member of the family didn't even make it to the sofa before falling asleep. I think we can all attribute this photo to a few good "Sigler" genes.

And the bib, since you can't really see it is a Thanksgiving bib with a turkey on it. It says "I'm Stuffed."
--Enough said!

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!! Thanks for stopping by.
XOXOXOXOXOXO
P.S. I was reading the comments from the post below. Hey Darlene. Its been forever. I hope all is well. I really hope we get to see you sometime really soon!

First Birthday

Well, it finally happened. Adelaide turned one year old yesterday. I can't believe how quickly the year went and just how big she is starting to get. She hasn't had her birthday party yet. It is set to happen on Sunday. I did want to post a few pictures from her one year photo session with Teri Mason. I haven't seen all of the pictures yet. These are just a few teasers she posted on her blog. Anyway, here they are. I will try to update soon with some pictures from her party.

Trying to dress herself

Okay, I have been trying to decide whether or not to actually post these pictures to the internet. I kept asking myself if I really wanted to post pictures of my underwear for the entire world to see. After talking to my mom about the pictures, hearing her laugh hysterically at the description, and then repeatedly asking me if I had posted them, I finally decided what the heck.

So, the background...

Adelaide loves to try to dress herself. She doesn't have any luck at all putting on the tiny baby clothes. She has however discovered the clothes hamper and my underwear. Apparently, my underwear (sadly) are of sufficient girth to easily make it around Adelaide's head. After she discovered this, she has had a great deal of fun dressing herself in my underwear and looking oh so proud. So here we go folks, and please no jokes about the underwear or their size...

First I gotta find the right pair and these are looking pretty good...

Now, I just gotta get them over my head...

Excellent! I think I need a pair of these gigantic socks to go with my big necklaces too...

Darn I look good...

And finally, now that you are done laughing about the underwear, here is a picture of Adelaide in her Halloween pajamas given to her by Uncle Chris, Aunt Laurie, and Davis.

P.S. Davis- Adelaide says HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
