I guess I’ll start with Adelaide’s first jack o’lantern since that is how I titled this post. As the title implies, we carved a jack o’lantern for Adelaide. Perhaps, we should be calling it an Eeyore o’lantern. Anyway, I digress. After a spending some more time with her very own pumpkins, Adelaide has finally conquered her fear of them. In fact, she enjoys them so much now, she’ll sit with them, thump them, and even help you try to carve them.
Here she is helping to remove the guts…

And then tasting the guts…

Guts for you too???

And finally, the finished product. Pretty cool if I do say so myself. All I need to do now is get a picture of Adelaide in her pony costume, sitting next to her pony pumpkin!

Adelaide has also really started to enjoy the rest of the Halloween decorations in the house as well. She loves to carry the small pumpkin looking gourds around

And she LOVES to hug and lay down with the stuffed ghost I have sitting with the pumpkins. See the ghost under her head? How sweet…

Outside of Halloween related things, Adelaide is continuing to sprout more teeth. She now has three to be exact, two on the top and one on the bottom. There is one other trying to come in on the bottom. Hence the drool soaked clothing in all of the pictures. In addition to the teeth, she is also now attempting to dress herself and comb her hair. It really is the funniest thing. She gets so frustrated when she can’t do it, starts throwing her hands up in the air and sighing in aggravation. So, here she is trying to put on socks…
Look, here is my sock. I think I need to get that on my foot…

Why can’t I get that darn thing on my foot???

Well, if I can’t get the sock on, I’ll put the rings on my foot. Ha!!

Brilliant and resourceful… what else can you say about the most beautiful little girl ever?
Well, I hope you all enjoyed the belated update and the pictures. Adelaide says goodnight and send hugs and kisses to all who stopped by. We hope to see you all in real life soon.
XOXOXOXOX
